Ferrochem FC 811 is a non-aqueous wet developer, i.e. suspension of developer particles in non-aqueous solvent carrier, for use with Ferrochem Fluorescent Penetrants. It provides an excellent contrast background for Ferrochem fluorescent penetrants to detect ultra fine discontinuities.

Ferrochem FC 921 is a solvent removable fluorescent penetrant that is impervious to water in order to avoid over-washing. Post-cleaning requires the use of FC 721 (Solvent Remover for fluorescent penetrant) to remove excess penetrant from the surface of test specimen.

This penetrant can be applied via spray cans, or for fluorescent penetrant systems where components to be tested can be dipped in the penetrant in open tanks.
